Browse and analyze data from Nichols et al., (Cell2011)

This dataset was constructed by measuring the growth rate (phenotype) for different mutants (single gene knockouts) of E. coli strain W3110. 4000 mutant strains were assayed under 318 different chemical treatments.

  • correlations among strains

You can select a subset of growth conditions and/or mutant strains, and analyze the data with clustering and statistical analysis tools

For a mutant strain, you can find the conditions under which the growth phenotype was significant. You can then find other strains with correlated phenotypes under those same conditions.
